Silktex is an integrated silk weaving mill equipped with ultra modern state of art machinery from Switzerland, Italy and Germany.

The entire process from designing to production includes different stages of yarn preparation, dyeing to weaving is all done inhouse allowing us to maintain high high production efficiency. The different stages of yarn preparation are done on sophisticated, modern machinery the best of their type imported from Italy. The process of yarn dyeing is monitored under carefully controlled hank dyeing machines and techniques are used to ensure high degree of colour matching. Weaving is done on Rapier looms from the world famous Sulzer Ruti of Switzerland and fully electronic Jacquard systems allow greater freedom for creation of more intricate designs.

Apart from the state of art modern production facilities, Silktex has seperate infrastructure to make ideal conditions for silk weaving, humidified atmospheric control, captive power generation are some of the facilities.

At Silktex, environmental conservation and safety are high priority issues. Our elegantly landscaped premises would also speak of this. We invest heavily to ensure that waste water treatment and waste disposal are scientifically handled with zero detriment to the environment. Adequate measures are taken for saftey of all our employees in our premises. Regular external audits have validated the fact that our system, equipment and processess conform to healthy environmental practices.
